As the release of the penultimate potter movie draws closer, more footage of the film begins to trickle out.
Heres a minute long clip entitled "no one else is going to die for me". Visually the film is looking stunning and both Dan and Rupert give brilliantly naunced performances
. If this ins't enough for you, we are expecting more clips to be released during ABC Family's harry potter weekend. In the mean time watch the foottage below and tell us what you think:
James Cameron has officially announced that Avatar 2 and 3 will be shot back-to-back and has given a target release for 2014 for Avatar 2 and 2015 for Avatar 3. filming is scheduled to start filming and in 2011 but unfortunately no further further detail have been given. How is cameron going to follow up the most successful film of all time? I'm hoping pandora will be explored like never before and maybe an alien encounter or 2 (real aliens), or even the industrialisation of their world. Na'vi brains are more are far more advanced than ours, they must be on the eve of a technological revolution. I just hope that cameron doesn't repeat the whole humans vs Na'vi concept, in fact i won't be disappointed if there isn't a single human in sight.
Hopefully now cameron has introduced the world he can spend more time on creating a compelling story. Where would you like to see the sequel go, just comment below to have your voice heard.
Chris Nolan director "Batman Begins" and "The Dark knight" has announced the official name for the 3rd film in his gotham city trilogy. "The Dark Knight Rises" is sceduled for a july 2012 release. Distributers Warner Bros. have agreed to keep the film in 2D ignoring the 3D trend which has swept the world. The director told the Los Angeles Times "hero complex blog" that the Riddler will not be the films villain and comfirmed that he would not recast the joker after Heath Ledger's death. This all seems like brilliant news to us, especially thd decision to not recast the joker. Here at Switch it up, we feel that no one could fill the boots of the late Heath Ledger.
Since we know that the riddler won't be in the film, who would you like to see as the villan. I'm personally hoping for a return of Mr Freeze, a villain which has never been portrayed with any sence of realism or believability. If anyone could do this character justice, its Nolan and Mr Freeze unique abilities and background will make for some amazing set pieces. He could add a whole sci-fi element which has never really been explored in Nolan's batman films thus far. Who do u think should play the villain? Make your herd in the comments below.
Harry Potters ( and possibly non fans )are in for a massive treat as warner bros have released 9 brand new tv spots, to be honest with they all look pretty amazing and is sure to convert those who previously looked down on the previous installments. From all the fotage there are 2 scenes which are looking to be stand outs: one being the motoway chase, the second is the scene at the ministry of magic, the way in which harry knocks hose papers of the table looks so badass! judging from the footage the wedding scene looks a bit clausterphobic and minimalist. i think it would have been better if the death-eaters assualt took place outside the tent but we'll have to wait for november 19th before we get to pass final judgement on Harry potter and the Deathly Hallows. Anyway watch the footage below, i have a feeling this mightt be the dark knight of the Harry Potter series!!
To celebrate only 50 days until the release of Deathly Hallows part 1, WB have posted a video of Daniel Radcliff giving fans a idea of what to expect when Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows is released on november 19th. Check the preview vid below. For the full vide check out the harry potter facebook page
WE also ave 3 new character banners for Deathly Hallows pt 1. The Banners feature a battered and bruised Harry and hermione as they appear in front of metalic london landscape. Ron's howevr is the most intrigueing as he is seen posing in front f what apeears to be a nuclear power plant. What role it plays in the film, im not sure because no such setting was featured in the book. Having said that i love when the producers suprise us, with unexpeted set pieces. Whether or not it is a setting for a battle, it is certain to add visual variety to the film. All the 3 banners feature the tagline " Nowhere is safe". Tell us which one you think is best, just comment below.
Last month we reported that a new harry potter trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt 1 would be hitting the net. We'll now its here accompanied by a brilliant poster!!!
In the trailer we get our first glimpse of Rufus Scrigmeour (Bill Nighy), Xenephilious Lovegood (Rhys Ifans). The brand new footage is filled with a whole lot of turmoil as Harry, Hermione and Ron attemp to esacape voldermorts evil grasp and his loyal deatheaters. for the first time in the series's 10 year history the film takes place outside the comforts of hogwarts so fans should expect the unexpecteed when Deathly Hallows hits theatres on November 19th. I won't waste any more of the your time, heres the video courtesy of Warner Bros
It's the middle of September and Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows is right around the corner. Arguably the most anticipated film of the year, it is expected that part one of the Epic two part finale will set the box office alight. With its release (November 19th) under 8 weeks away, Warner bros have began intensive marketing.
Today we have the first TV spot, which was shown during the season premiere of "The Vampires Diary". The TV spot is filled with exciting new footage including the ghost of Dumbledore charging at the trio, death eaters on the attack and the brilliantly mad Bellatrix Lestrange (Helena Bonham Carter). Its immediately evident that director David Yates is taking the franchise further into dark territories. Watch the video below and tell us if your impressed by the new footage.
It should be noted that some of the footage shown is from Harry potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Although this is likely due to creative purposes, it is great to see that Yates and Co are being careful not to spoil us! If that's not enough for you a new, full, trailer for part one should be arriving in the next 2 weeks.
Aside from the new TV spot we've got our hands on gorgeous new stills courtesy of fan site Scarpotter. The stills show off the work of cinematographer Euardo Serra.
